Rachel has been with Cunningham's Jewelry since August 2023. She came to us with no knowledge of jewelry and, in just a short time, grew to become a huge asset. An artist herself, Rachel has an eye for design. She can help you find the perfect piece of jewelry, and if it can't be found, begin the process of designing a custom piece. She a
Rachel has been with Cunningham's Jewelry since August 2023. She came to us with no knowledge of jewelry and, in just a short time, grew to become a huge asset. An artist herself, Rachel has an eye for design. She can help you find the perfect piece of jewelry, and if it can't be found, begin the process of designing a custom piece. She also designs and creates most of our social media posts.
Rachel is a newlywed and enjoys spending time with her hubby, cats, and friends, doing Bible studies, playing games, and savoring a variety of foods, but soup is her true love.
Phyllis has been in the jewelry industry since 1992 and has been with Cunningham's since September 2021. You can usually find her here Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is very knowledgeable and is always happy to talk to you about your repairs or help you pick out the perfect piece of jewelry for yourself or a special person in your life. Phyllis also makes all of our beaded bracelets.
When Phyllis isn't working, you'll likely find her on the golf course or at one of her grandchildren's sporting events.

While attending Chenango Valley High School, David Cunningham fell in love with two things: his future wife, Karen, and jewelry making. Karen still has the first ring he made for her in an advanced art class. David further developed his skills for jewelry design and 3D art at Northern Arizona University, where he earned a bachelor of fine
While attending Chenango Valley High School, David Cunningham fell in love with two things: his future wife, Karen, and jewelry making. Karen still has the first ring he made for her in an advanced art class. David further developed his skills for jewelry design and 3D art at Northern Arizona University, where he earned a bachelor of fine art, with an emphasis in jewelry and metalsmithing, in December 2000, and he has been working as a jeweler ever since. Before opening Cunningham's Jewelry, David worked for another jewelry store and ran a wholesale repair shop, doing work for 30+ jewelry stores throughout the Northeast.
David comes from a family of engineers and enjoys combining the technical side with his artistic ability while using CAD to design custom jewelry.
In his free time, David loves to bowl.
Karen also attended Northern Arizona University and graduated in December 2000 with not one, but TWO degrees, focusing on small business management and corporate finance. As her final project for her entrepreneurship class, she created a mockup business plan for a jewelry store – not realizing that she’d put it to use one day!
Several years after their marriage in May 2000, David and Karen had their two children, Abigail and Caleb. Karen homeschooled them until they each graduated high school, juggling the duties of being a mother, teacher, and small business owner all at the same time.
Now that Karen is back at the store full time, she handles both the financial and technical sides of the business, including paying bills, advertising, and often being tech support when computers decide not to cooperate.
Don’t let her stacked resume fool you; Karen has a great passion for expressing her creativity through art! Whether it’s graphic design, photography, paper crafts, or turning a cabinet into a coffee bar, she’s ready to tackle any creative challenge. She loves her kitties, photographing the birds that visit her birdfeeder, and a great cup of coffee.
David, Karen, and their children love Jesus and serving in the church. They also really love their yearly vacation to the beach in Erie, PA.
